All of the videos shown on the pages of Arise Motion are short sample clips of the full videos. They are not seamless loops. The downloadable videos, unless otherwise noted are seamless loops. That means there are no annoying jumps at the end of the video when it restarts at the beginning. Most of the videos are 1 minute 20 seconds long unless otherwise noted. This length was chosen because it is long enough that the viewer will not notice it repeating but short enough to keep the file size manageable for presentation programs.
One of my shortcomings is that I like color. I have tried to make the videos and images either dark or light so text can be seen clearly when overlaid on top of the backgrounds. Because of my love of color, I may have missed the mark in this regard. If there is a video that you like, but it is obscuring your text, please let me know and I will gladly make an overlay on it so that your text is more clearly visible.
Stills
I have produced the stills in a 3200 x 2200 pixel format to fit most overhead screens without too much stretching vertically or horizontally. Most presentation programs auto fit images and videos to whatever format is chosen. Because most of the videos are abstract, this distortion is not as critical whereas most of the stills are of scenery which, when stretched is more noticeable.
